The function of the water temperature sensor is to convert the temperature of the cooling water into an electrical signal, which is input into the ECU:

1. Correct the fuel injection volume; increase the fuel injection volume when the temperature is low.

2. Correct the ignition advance angle; increase the ignition advance angle at low temperature, and delay it to prevent deflagration at high temperature.

3. Affect the idle speed control valve; ECU controls the action of the idle speed control valve according to the water temperature sensor signal at low temperature to increase the speed.

4. Affect the EGR valve;
